Decent stay

Location is a couple of minutes walk from the center, which makes it a quiet location. Parking lot on premises is a plus. Breakfast wasn't thrilling, but Ok (eggs, a small selection of cereal, bacon, some fruit)

Cons While some of the staff were friendly and helpful, some of them (and specifically the woman who checked us in, and was there again for various shifts during our stay) wasn't friendly or helpful.

Schönes, ruhiges Hotel an ruhiger Lage nahe Dorfzentrum

Schönes, sauberes Zimmer mit bequemem Bett (das Klappbett ist zu klein für 2 Kinder). Freundliches Personal und ruhige Lage. Praktisch ist auch der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage. Das Zentrum von Banff ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Besonders gut fanden wir den Wasserspender im Gang, an dem man seine eigenen Flaschen kostenlos auffüllen konnte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons Einziger Kritikpunkt war das Frühstück: Es gab erfreulicherweise richtiges Geschirr (Teller, Tassen, Gläser und Schalen, sowie Besteck), gleichzeitig aber auch viel Einweg-Geschirr aus Plastik und Karton. Unverständlich fanden wir, dass dieses sogar vor dem richtigen Geschirr platziert war. Die richtigen Tassen standen beispielsweise unten in einem Fach und waren kaum zu entdecken. Hier wäre es schön, wenn das wiederverwendbare Geschirr klar im Vordergrund stehen würde.

Location. That is it!

Cons I've traveled extensively and it's a disgrace how much this hotel is charging. It is comparable to a hotel on the side of a US highway in the middle of nowhere. It was $700/night and overlooked the garage ramp and gas station. There was a jacuzzi next to the bed (why??) and the breakfast was disgusting. We switched to the Moxy after one night which was the same price and AMAZING! After meeting several local employees, they all said the Best Western was the worst hotel in Banff. It would be acceptable at $300/night
