Boston Marriott Long Wharf

The hotel was nice . The negatives pulled down the positives.

Confortable rooms and great location

Cons (1) upon arrival, we were informed that there was a $35/day fee; (2) the WiFi cost $16/day unless you joined the Marriott club. Ive never had conditionally free WiFi; (3) parking was $73/day. In nyc recently, parking was $60; and (4) the tv had no ports for us to connect a PlayStation and the channels available must have been the cheapest package.

Fantastisch hotel, met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, echt een aanrader!

De locatie is geweldig, je zit heerlijk aan het water. Kan daar heerlijk wandelen, veel speeltuinen en lekkere restaurantjes op wandel afstand. Zeker ook voor kinderen. Je bent ook zo in de city center. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. Heel fijn contact voor we aankwamen en denken ontzettend met je mee over aankomst en vertrek. De kamers zijn ruim opgezet.

Disappointing for a Marriott

The restaurant was pleasant for breakfast and evening meal. However, we were not trusted to pour our own orange juice and coffee. It seemed like everything was being monitored. Very strange as the cost for breakfast was quite expensive.

Cons Staff attitude was very different to our experience in New York. Staff were abrupt and unhelpful. We were put into a disabled room - but are able bodied. The disabled room was at the far end of the hotel from lifts. It did not make sense. We asked to change rooms and asked to be shown the alternative to the disabled room. We asked to leave our bags in the initial room while we checked out the alternative room. We were told that we had already been checked out of this room and had no option but to move to the new room.

Great Location if your going to the Seaport area

Very clean, beds and linens were excellent top quality. Shower was nice with two shower heads. Pool was nice, wish it had a hot tub but that's the only thing missing. Everything else was great. We were able to leave our bags with the concierge while we explored the city before heading back out on the 5:30 Ferry to Salem. All in all, an excellent adventure!

A location …. D hotel

Packed …Loud…. Bad smelling rooms , worn mattresses , rude valet service ….after paying $84 a night to valet park ….valet boy stood by my door and kept asking me questions …. For $84 a night …I’m not tipping you Front desk was overwhelmed at 3pm check in ….only two people working on a Sunday Trash laying around outside deck areas . Overall this is a touristy hotel that needs a big facelift
