Cons Nothing we loved it
This hotel is stunning. well worth a visit!
One of the best hotels i have ever stayed at! The hotel is stunning. The rooms are huge. The beds are comfortable. The hotel was very quiet despite being quite full. Most of the staff are welcoming, friendly and engaging, especially the room cleaning staff, the front desk staff and concierge. The beach is beautiful. Kayaking and bike pedalos were free of charge on the beach. The food and drinks were all absolutely delicious, just very expensive. My big worry would be that the hotel was overrun by cruise ship passengers on day passes but i think the hotel caps it's number and it most definitely wasn't overrun. The cruise port is right next door so it was lovely to see the big ships and watch them arrive and depart. The pools are clean and lovely. The grounds are well kept and look fantastic. I loved the history of this hotel and how much they incorporate that into the decor. I would return in a heartbeat.
Cons Nothing much really, all my gripes are absolutely minor but the hotel is so nice and lovely, these little things just niggled me and the hotel tries so hard, to then be let down by such trivial things. I wouldn't normally write minor things like this on a public review as I don't see them as significant enough but having had no reply to any of my emails or messages it might be the only way to make the hotel aware. We emailed the hotel several times and messaged via Booking.com, asking for rooms to be adjoining or at least close by, but didn't get one reply back. The location is great but very few local bars and restaurants that are open after around 4pm due to cruise ship passengers having left by that time and the hotel is not cheap to eat and drink at. There was a man walking his dog on the hotel beach most evenings which i didn't like, i presumed it was a private beach. Most of the staff were lovely, friendly, especially the room cleaning staff but there were a few members of staff who weren't as well mannered. As per the surrounding bars and restaurants, there were a couple of days where the pool bar closed before 5pm and it would be nice for hotel guests to be remembered not just cruise ship passengers. Although the hotel wasn't overrun by cruise ship passengers, there were times when hotel guests were unable to use sunbeds because of the day visitors, which seems a tad unfair. Between around 12-2.30pm it can take quite a while for food to arrive at the pool side. But again, very minor issues, easily rectified and it wouldn't prevent me from staying again or recommending the hotel.
Superbe séjour en famille
L’emplacement. Petite plage mais agréable. En centre ville et tout près des speedboat pour les excursions. A 10 mètres des tortues qui nagent dans le port
