Garden rooms
Lots of very pretty patios and common spaces. Super friendly staff. Comfortable room with a fireplace and no tv.
Cons I would have liked a better reading lamp by the bed. I think the dolls used to decorate are creepy, even for a former bordello. This is nit picking.

beautiful boutique hotel with perfect location and comfort
Casa de la Noche is a gorgeous boutique hotel with friendly staff, beautiful garden patios, multiple sitting/reading/noshing areas, comfy beds, excellent location, interesting history. It was a pure delight. My first trip and I will return. My mom's 4th stay! Barb, Uz, Ricardo, and cleaning staff are all kind and helpful.

Casa de la Noche is a must stay!!
I absolutely loved my stay at Casa de la Noche. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a beautiful, soulful home filled with history, artistry, and warmth. Every corner of the property has personality and charm, with thoughtful details that reflect the spirit and culture of San Miguel de Allende.
The atmosphere is peaceful, inspiring, and incredibly welcoming — especially for solo travelers and women travelers looking for a place that feels both safe and deeply authentic. The rooms are comfortable and unique, the shared spaces invite conversation and connection, and the rooftop views are simply magical, especially at sunset.
What truly makes Casa de la Noche special, though, is the heart behind it. You can feel the love, creativity, and intention that have gone into creating a space that honors the history of the home while making guests feel genuinely cared for. It’s the kind of place that becomes part of your experience of San Miguel itself.
I left feeling inspired, rested, and already hoping to return. Highly recommend for travelers looking for something far more meaningful than a standard hotel stay.
