Century Plaza Hotel

The room is spacious, very clean and the hotel is very nice and in a good and central location. There is a good cafe at the hotel and, if you decide to decline the room service, they offer you a 10 CAD voucher to spend at the cafe. We really enjoyed our stay here :)

Cons The good location also comes with some street noise, especially because the hotel is located right next to a hospital. Additionally, the parking fee (40 CAD per day) is quite expensive. Finally, our room did not have any cutlery.

Da wir nicht super anspruchsvoll sind, war es okay. Aber eben auch nicht mehr.

Gesamt gute Lage in Richtung Innenstadt und gute Busanbindung. Große Zimmer.

Cons Zimmer und Einrichtung sind langsam in die Jahre gekommen. In der Woche erhält man (nur) einen Voucher in Höhe von 30 Canadian Dollars p.P. für das Frühstück. Buffet nur am Sonntag. Da das Krankenhaus in direkter Nähe liegt, hört man doch sehr viele Krankenwagen.

Die Nähe zur Innenstadt ist toll.

Cons Hotel liegt direkt neben einem Krankenhaus und einer Feuerwache , aber wo in einer Stadt hört man keine Sirenen.

Very central, nice staff that were friendly and accommodating. Spacious room.

Cons A little outdated in the bathroom and kitchen. But nothing to detract from the overall experience. The hospital is very close, but you get used to the siren sounds.

The hotel is older but well kept. Our suite was on the 15. floor with a nice view. The location in downtown makes it easy to get around by bus or even on foot. On the other hand it is not so quiet at night as one would like. You hear the sirens and the traffic even with the windows closed. The personnel was very friendly and let us even check in a little earlier than normal. There is no shuttle to the airport, but taxis waiting at all times at the entrance and the fee is acceptable.
