Front desk staff are amazing especially Mattias! The room was really good in both clean and comfortable especially good for solo traveler! I am returning for another stay and Mattias rebooked for me while I was at front desk. I didn't get the young lady"s name who worked 3-11 but she was really good at her job and assisting also . I look forward to my return staff for Christmas market !

Super convenient location, safe, with generous sized room even for solo traveller!
Super convenient location near the train station and Karl Johans gate but slightly away from the chaos so it felt less busy. I had a single room - actually was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. They had recycling bins for different types of waste at reception which I appreciated. Also the room had under-bed storage where you could donate unwanted clothes that go to local charities - what a fabulous initiative!!! For the single room, the most surprising element was the generously sized shower - it was a single shower head but the size of a double walk-in shower so there was plenty of space! Wifi easy and prompt. Felt secure.
Cons The bed was placed against the far wall and windows. This meant I had to crawl over the bed to draw the curtains or look out the window. Definitely not a dealbreaker, just a bit inconvenient. The check-in was also a bit hard to work out - it was DIY from a computer booth in front of the lifts (I only found out later you could go to the bar to check in too!) - but once it was done, it was very efficient.
