Cons The stay involved several frustrating issues: * They tried to charge me twice, even though I had already booked and paid through Booking.com. * No room was available for early check-in despite my request. This happens, so it wasn’t a major issue. * They also overlooked my prepaid breakfast and initially tried to charge me for it again. Eventually, they provided vouchers for the existing café, but it wasn’t a traditional buffet, coffee wasn’t included, and the actual buffet area was behind closed doors. So what exactly did I pay for? * They required a CAD 100 deposit for a one-night stay, despite already having my card details. I disliked this practice, especially because I wasn’t informed about it beforehand. * The bathroom ceiling was peeling and coming apart. * There was no handheld showerhead, only a fixed one, which was inconvenient, especially for women.
