Rooms smell like smoke despite non-smoking claims and suffer from inconsistent cleanliness issues like dirt and grease. Train noise from nearby Union Station bothers light sleepers on odd-numbered floors. Staff are friendly but the hotel had a major failure when it ran out of hot water for an entire guest's stay with no compensation offered.
