Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa by IHG

Five very relaxing days in a very lovely resort.

We just wanted to stay at a beautiful self contained resort and relax. The Crowne Plaza is perfect for this. It's beachfront on Nadi Bay however if you want white sand and a snorkel off the beach this won't suit you. The sea is swimmable and they provide kayaks and jet skis but this resort is all about the vast expanse of swimming pools, many restaurants, bars and lush gardens. It's a place you really don't need to leave even though we took a day trip to a nearby island which was fantastic. Food prices are reasonable and plenty of choice. Wine selection by the glass limited but okay. Very child friendly. The staff are absolutely wonderful.

Cons Quite far away from local restaurants. Had to travel to the marina which got quite costly as the only transport was taxi.

If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t walk, run! Book that trip because it’s worth it! The room w the pool right

There are plenty of things to do, see and eat without leaving the resort. Even if you did want to leave, there are off-site places to dine that are all walking distance. There is plenty of space to hangout and relax! It’s hard to get bored as there are always activities to participate in everyday that the resort hosts (and yes that includes nightly entertainment for the adults). Even if you just want to literally relax and do nothing, you can literally cater the trip to just sitting poolside to sunbathe or have a cheeky cocktail or two. The facilities such as the on-site gym is nice and spacious too if you want to workout during your stay. The staff!! You meet as strangers and leave with bonds and friendships that you never thought you would create during your holiday. The staff are super friendly so it just makes your stay that much easier to enjoy

Cons The clogging of the shower - we ended up realizing that we had to unclog the drain/s ourselves and were unsure how long it had been since it was last done. If this isn’t taken care of properly, it’s easy for the bathroom floor to flood

Cons A little isolated and not a lot of options for getting a soft drink before 11.00 am

Being a new resort, everything is in great condition. Lovely pools, restaurants have great quality food and and cocktails. Activities staff are so much fun. Rooms are spotless.
