Sydney ist ein Traum, das Hotelzimmer nicht. In den höher gelegenen Geschossen ist es bestimmt besser.
Sehr gute Lage, die Oper, die Harbour Bridge, Haupteinkaufs- und Gastrostrassen sind fussläufig erreichbar. Die Lobby und das Restaurant sind sehr einladend, das Personal sehr freundlich. Schöner Pool im obersten (Hotel-) geschoss.
Cons Die Zimmer sind etwas oldstyle. Unsere gebuchten Zimmer mit Stadtblick boten einen trostlosen Blick in einen Hinterhof mit Garageneinfahrt. Man konnte genau bis zur 4 m entfernten dreckigen Hauswand blicken. Um zu sehen, wie das Wetter war, mussten wir das Hotel verlassen, das Zimmer war bei Sonnenschein genauso finster wie bei Regen.

Did not have breakfast at the hotel as needing to leave early (earliest available breakfast was for 0700). Great location in CBD. Good availability of food (on site restaurants which opened until late) as well as selection on room service. I really appreciated the use of QR codes for the mini bar as well as the recyclable bottles left in the room to obtain free water, saving on plastic. Though I did not use it, the heated infinity pool was very tempting!
Cons There was cutlery from the room next door left on the floor just outside my bedroom door in the morning! Not the fault of the housekeeping staff though I didn't see a tray nearby.
