Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour by IHG

A pleasant and comfortable stay, but overpriced for the experience and not quite up to my five-star expectations.

Overall, it was a good and comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, well-maintained, and pleasant to use. The facilities were generally good, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. Although I initially had an issue with the room I was assigned, the staff were understanding and resolved it promptly without any resistance, which I appreciated. Overall, the experience was positive, although nothing particularly exceptional compared to other five-star hotels I have stayed at

Cons I felt the hotel was overpriced for what it offered. I’ve stayed at similar five-star hotels in Melbourne for almost half the price. The initial room was disappointingly small, especially for our anniversary, although the staff changed it promptly. The view was nothing special, and the breakfast had very limited options, particularly for international guests. I wouldn’t pay extra for breakfast again.

Good stay in Sydney!

The location was great, and the staff was amazing. Good for a short stay, we picked a junior suite so not sure how big the other rooms are, but ours was good for 3 people.

Overall great cant wait to come back use the pool

Great dog friendly location - parking is pricey

Dog friendly, very clean, close to Darling Harbour, Room service food and service was excellent, Breakfast was also very good. 24 hour reception is nice. Great pool area. Great KS bed, good TV.

Cons $65 a day for basement parking not mentioned upfront. Pretty small room. Thought it was closer to main Darling Harbour area than it was. Had to climb a lot of steps to get to Darling Harbour Restaurant precinct. Not cheap but glad they accepted our dog.

Room was great and breakfast was delicious 😋
