What an amazing stay!
We were in Valletta for 4 nights towards the end of October as we finished our cruise there. Many people were staying there as they were either finishing or starting a cruise. We arrived in the morning and were greeted so warmly, brought to a lovely place to sit and our luggage placed nearby. Maria greeted us and for our details, offered us drinks of any kind. We knew our room wouldn’t be ready, but she said to back around 1pm or 2pm, so we went to explore the immediate area of Valletta. When our rooms were ready, we were shown to them by Maria. Ours was on the first floor just off the elevator. A very lovely decorated large room with kingsize bed and 2 bathrooms! The bed was very comfortable, supportive, and my husband, who can have problems with his hip and knee, slept so well. Our room looked back down over the lobby. During our stay we met several people who work there. Each and every one was genuinely interested in having a conversation, asking about our day, offering anything and everything. The hospitality here is impeccable! Maria booked us into restaurants, they booked tickets for the cathedral so we could skip the line, and when we left Maria even walked down the street with us helping with the luggage as cars aren’t allowed in front of the hotel after 9:30am. And just a note about where you get dropped off by Uber: you do walk uphill 1 block to a big square. Turn left and just down the street is the hotel entrance on the right. It helps if you’ve Googled the front door so you know what to look for. Our Maps App sent us in a couple of directions and the Uber drive just pointed and indicated we turn left. If at all possible, getting dropped off at the round-about puts you walking downhill on a very smooth and wide walkway. You then turn right. You may see the upper level entrance from this direction, but continue to the corner and turn right. That puts you at the main entrance with no steps.
Cons Not a dislike, only just something to note, because the hotel was originally a house built around a miniature courtyard, there’s very little natural light in the bedroom. It allowed us a great sleep! And the way we were treated more than made up for this.

Location is the Primary selling point. The staff treated us with great kindness provided great insight into touristic ideas.

The staff were very accommodating in providing meals tailored to some dietary restrictions for the breakfast included. The hotel Manager Moul Hajjar was warm and welcoming and provided excellent suggestions on how to see the sights. Ryan at the front desk as also very helpful! The Terrace overlooking the Main Street was an added bonus.
