DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown

Immaculate facility. Many amenities: swimming pool, restaurant, bar, fitness room. Close enough to restaurants and other entertainment venues so we were able to walk to them. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Cons Large group of people congregating near the front desk having loud conversations, making speaking with the front desk employees difficult as well as blocking entry or exit of the hotel. Staff could have asked them to relocate.This happened on both days that I was there. Not a fan of the additional parking fee for an already pricey hotel.

We had a great few days, thoroughly enjoyed Asheville and apart from the above the hotel was great

Excellent room and facilities. Ideally located to access all that Asheville had to offer either by foot or car for the further locations

Cons Traffic noise from the adjacent hi-ways was very intrusive. Evening dinner left a lot to be desired. Fortunately many good restaurants in walking distance
