DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas - Campbell Centre

It met my high expectations. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

It was in a convenient location and near an outstanding mall, as well as other venues.

Cons The property looks welcoming with the comfortable seating throughout the lobby.

Overall it was decent but disappointing, priced way above what we actually got.

The breakfasts and mattress was quite good, and very comfortable

Cons This may be more booking.com's fault but the explanation of the type of room was not adequate, celebrating our 23rd anniversary in a room with a gym in it, was well below expectations. Having to ask for a microwave and water options for a room costing over 250 a night is ridiculous. The hotel not even having carts for usage after waiting for 20 minutes and then just carrying multiple bags to our room was below expectations for the price. Even having to pay an extra 40 dollars for what turned out to be a basic continental breakfast did not help.

Beds are very comfortable

I loved it the first time, hated it the second time. I’m not sure if I will ever return.

I have stayed at this location once before and had no issues, the room was nice and clean before and the locations was perfect.

Cons This time staying at Double Tree was nowhere near at great as my first go round. Everything was fine at check in. Though as I settled into the room, I noticed the bedding had dirt streaks tucked away under the sheets- because housekeeping was gone for the day I knew I would not be able to have them changed. The next day, I hoped the bedding would be changed but housekeeping simply remade the bed with the same dirty linens, again I was not on site to request a change because it was too late for housekeeping. The drains in the bathroom were extremely clogged and I could not use the sink for long without it overflowing. The shower was worse, I had to stop the shower hoping to drain the tub- it took hours and then it did not drain at all. The sink was pouring out BLACK water at one point. And on my last night staying I saw a roach run across the floor and under the cabinets. I had properly thrown away all food prior to this. This was extremely Disgusting and I was surprised that the building would have pests at all. The A/C was not working and honestly smelled of mold, I looked closer at the vents and realized there was dust and mold coating the entire vent.

It was fun, and it was right, where I needed it to be

It was close by to a lot of things that we can Uber wherever we need to go

Cons I was sad. I got the second floor. I really wanted something hired so I can see the skyline but there is no option for me to select that or away for me to ask for that

Great vaule, ask for your accommodations when needed. And enjoy the cool room

Like accommodation. One room was warmer easily got switched out to a cooler room in the heat of summer. Room was clean spacious and enjoyed my view personally.

Cons A warm corner Room. Refrigerator was Not close to cold.
