We had a very pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta - Diponegoro. The overall value for money is good, though there are a few details to keep in mind. We would especially like to highlight the incredible kitchen and restaurant team. Since my wife and mother-in-law both have celiac disease, they require strictly gluten-free meals. Every single chef we met was extraordinarily patient and prepared safe, customized dishes for them every day—we are deeply grateful for this! The entire breakfast and dinner service team remained remarkably friendly and helpful despite busy hours. Another major highlight is the huge swimming pool. Its impressive length makes it perfect for proper swimming—by far the best hotel pool in Jakarta for us. We were also very satisfied with the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the thorough daily room housekeeping. On the other hand, there were a few minor downsides. Because of daily conferences held at the hotel, there is a mix between vacationers and business guests, which can create a slightly different vibe for holidaymakers—especially when relaxing by the pool while conference attendees smoke nearby. Additionally, the breakfast hall was quite crowded on certain days (though well-staffed), the two central lobby elevators got busy during peak hours, and the room was relatively small for a 5-star standard. Overall, however, the positive aspects clearly outweigh the drawbacks, particularly the outstanding service regarding our dietary needs. Thank you to the entire team for a memorable stay

Cons I had chosen this hotel because of its location and its fantastic-looking restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the information that the restaurant and bar are temporarily closed wasn’t made evident. I was very disappointed.
