Comfortable and Convenient
The location was central to my activities. The property has an onsite self-parking garage, which was incredibly convenient. The room was comfortable and very clean. There were several good options for food at the hotel and the staff were helpful and friendly.

My wife and I had reserved a Vrbo that turned out to be horrible so we had to come up with a plan B and fast. This was a great choice. Clean, comfortable, a beautiful view.

Cons It was probably just a case of higher expectations on my part. ¶ The room amenities were bare bones. No room service? Coffee maker was tiny and might as well not even have been there. Honestly, I don't know if your other rooms are like the one we were in but I think your furniture and beds and chairs and desks are worn and need upgrading. ¶ The restaurant was closed in the evenings. The parking was overpriced and for what we paid for our stay; the parking ought to have been included in the price of the room and stay. I just expected more value and amenities from a DoubleTree hotel. I've stayed at DoubleTrees in other cities. I'm mildly disappointed with our experience at Portland DoubleTree.
Loved the stay
Ive never stayed at a hotel that has my name on the TV when u arrive. The bed was comfy and everything's was just perfect.
Cons They keep the room rly cold, no mater what I changed it too it was cold.
Great place to stay
Great location near park. And great staff. The STP bike ride’s conclusion created lots of crowds but the staff kept things running smoothly. Restaurant was excellent.
