Cleanliness, organization, quietness, and prompt service for kitchen orders—plus the food was delicious and varied. I will definitely come back and stay here again; the location is superb and the hotel is well-kept.
Cons I went down in the morning for breakfast, and the receptionist stopped me; I gave her my room number. She said my booking didn't include breakfast. I told her it wasn't a problem—I could just charge it to my account. I asked her to bring me the bill while I was eating. Honestly, it annoyed me that she brought the bill the moment I finished—it’s not like I was going to run off. Anyway, I signed the bill. But when I went back up to my room, he followed me. He wanted cash—ugh. I told him, "You already have my bank card details; just charge it to that." He insisted on cash. I said, "Fine, here's the cash," paid it, and that was that. It wasn't my first time staying there; they really should have handled it more professionally, but that’s how it went.

I had a very pleasant stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul – Old Town. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Istanbul, with many attractions and transport options nearby.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was very good. The room was comfortable, and I was satisfied with my stay.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a swimming pool, as this would be a great additional facility for guests, especially after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, I had a great experience and would be happy to stay here again.
