New public areas like Fig restaurant & Bar were appreciated. Everyting else was rather dated.
Cons Room was dated, seems years since last refurbishment - in particular shower and single vanity in a suite which is not per brand standards - we were travelling with 2 adults and a 16 year old - the double double beds were positioned against the walls, in such a way that two persons sleeping on the bed would mean that one would have to climb over the other to get out of bed, we were offered an upgraded suite but had to pay the whole difference. The whole sleeping arrangement was delivered with two robes, two sets of towels so clearly the room is intended for two adults and not three or four as a double double implies.... we dont think it fit for purpose.

It is an oasis in a busy city. The service was excellent.
