The location, the views and the staff!

Disappointing.

We expected a resort style place not a hotel in the community area around not clean. Did not feel Safe to walk around outside of the hotel

Cons Staff were not friendly rarely spoke. Only exception is the front desk Vineesha and her male colleague also the chef in the restaurant. Everyone else were sad looking, never smiled or greeted anyone. I have visited India before however not Goa. Won't visit Goa again. Will stick to the other areas where people are warm and friendly.

The property is excellent and staff is courteous, we had an amazing stay and overall experience. The food was great too! All in all a great value for each penny we spent.

Cons Due to close proximity of sea, the room walls sometimes sweat due to extra moisture but the view and experience this is something that can be overlooked.

Unforgettable

We had an incredible stay at the Goa Marriott Resort and we are incredibly grateful to all the staff for their kind hospitality and service over the last week. The resort is beautiful and the views of the ocean and Goa itself are captivating. We very much enjoyed exploring the facilities available at the resort - such as the spa, jacuzzi and the steam room. These facilities had a peaceful and calm ambiance for us to relax and de stress. Myself and my wife received massages and facials from the spa - and we both throughly enjoyed the experience so deeply that we returned twice! Firstly, I would like to thank a few members of staff who have gone above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Keshar always had a positive attitude and welcoming smile on her face. She was professional, efficient and swift to resolve any matter. I would also like to express my gratitude to Shriram, as soon as I booked this resort he immediately contacted me via WhatsApp and ensured our stay was as seamless as possible - from arranging our taxi service at the beginning of the trip to organising a special surprise for my wife’s 50th birthday. He was highly tentative and responsive to all of our needs. Another huge thank you also goes to Delana Pai, who consistently ensured we were satisfied with the standard of service during our stay. She also arranged for us to experience the VIP lounge - a truly memorable moment for our family. But a special shout out goes to the staff in the restaurant area for breakfast - Bhupendra, always serving with a big smile on his face, he was exceptional throughout our stay, he was quick and attentive to respond to our needs. Another special shout out goes to housekeeping (Gasper)- our rooms were always cleaned to the highest standard and the kids loved the towel surprises left on their beds, it was very thoughtful and we are thankful! We cannot thank the staff enough for making our holiday so special we hope to come back soon in the years yet to come!!

Cons The breakfast buffet was somewhat limited, and viewed as more of a ‘continental breakfast’ whilst we appreciated the vast array of cuisines available to dine from - the breakfast buffet could have been expanded to a variety of food and drink options that are typically included in breakfast such as baked beans, hash browns, orange & apple juice, and the option to create a salad. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we felt that the breakfast did not fully live up to our expectations from previous stays abroad.

Great ambience, well maintained property, excellent service, friendly staff, great food. The property and the location is fantastic.

Cons We had a queen twin bed room with patio. Room was good and well maintained. The main issues we faced were 1. Rooms are pretty big, but not enough luggage and storage space for three people which the room is meant to accomodate. 2. The room only had a small round table with a single chair. In room dining was bit of a strech. 3. Positioning of plug points and switches near the beds were not comfortable.
