Great location, nice staff, but a series of problems suggest poor management
The location is the best of any area hotel if you want to be in the heart of campus.
Cons The sheets in the room for the pull-out couch were damp when we took them out of the closet, and there were crumbs in the mattress when we unfolded it. A previous occupant had left their belongings in the room, which hadn’t been noticed by staff. In other words, we had little confidence in the attentiveness of the housekeeping staff. Also, we had no hot water for a bit in the afternoon, though it was promptly repaired. We were also sold a parking space on the property but the lot was full when we tried to park in the evening. The staff first wanted us to park in the nearby parking garage but then allowed us to park in a space marked “no parking” in the lot. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but these problems suggest the property is not being managed and maintained to the standard I would expect.
