Great Stay
It was located very close downtown. The staff was AMAZING! My room was very comfortable and clean. Uses valet service and they were wonderful also.
Cons The hotel rooftop bar/restaurants/pool was closed. But it was a air quality issue going on at the time.

Very nice and reasonable priced hotel
It was in a great location for us as we came to Richmond to see a show at the Altria Theater which was a 9 minute walk away. It was clean, furnishings were nice, bed very comfortable and they have a place for breakfast and a bar on the ground floor and also a rooftop with bar and restaurant. It was raining on the night we were there so the rooftop was closed. I’d definitely stay here again when in Richmond.
Cons First time I’ve had the valet parking be a separate entity from the hotel. First heard it was $37 night but it was actually $44. To pay for it I had to do it online and then there was an additional tax or user fee on it. Then instead of me handing the driver a tip it had to be done on line and even the tip had an added fee to it. You couldn’t not tip and pay cash as it won’t let you continue on the site. Didn’t care for this set up at all. I’m used to being quoted a nightly rate from the hotel and it’s added to my bill.
It was close to the theatre we were going to do we were able to park and not have to drive anymore. The valet guys were fabulous as well as the front desk personnel.
Cons The restaurant/bar people weren’t the best. Not as friendly as others. One girl bright new cold grits, when asked to have them sent back to be warmed she said she would have to go all the way upstairs and they’d be cold again by the time she bright them back. Also we got dinner the night before and weren’t even offered anything to dip the chicken tenders in. As much money as they charge for food and drinks, you should be able to get what you want. And get it warm. Not cold.
