Grand Fiesta Americana Oaxaca

Uncomfortable due to needless staff rudeness. Will not stay at that hotel chain in the future.

Location was adequate; however a bit far from center of town.

Cons Staff made a mistake in processing payment. Since a credit card was not on file they proceeded to enter our room shortly after we arrived to remove all mini bar items and lock up the rest. It was an extremely rude, unnecessary, and both degrading and disrespectful manner in which to treat a guest considering the caliber of the hotel and the individuals who choose to stay there.

L’hôtel est magnifique et le service était vraiment à la hauteur de nos attentes. La piscine chauffée est superbe et, comme nous étions hors saison, nous avons eu la chance d’en profiter seuls la plupart du temps. Un vrai bonheur ! La réservation « Grand Club » offre également l’accès à une salle privée où une petite collation est servie en soirée, une attention très appréciée. Bref, un séjour fantastique, que nous avons adoré !

Our entire stay was incredible. The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful from the moment we stepped onto the property. In terms of 4 or 5 star hotels within city limits, this has been our absolute favorite. The hotel itself is very clean, new, and beautifully designed. There were so many options at the breakfast buffet it was almost overwhelming, but each item we tried was amazing (especially the freshly cooked memelas!!). The pool and hot tubs are in a little bit of a weird location, but I love the bar setup next to it and it's a covered area so you can still enjoy it on rainy days.
