The staff were so lovely & helpful. The room was beautiful. The turn down service & chocolates on my pillow were such a great touch. The gym & rooftop pool were fantastic.

Medewerkers bij receptie waren vriendelijk. We mochten de koffers achterlaten op de vertrekdag, dit was top.
Cons De naam Grand Hotel Central, Small Luxury Hotels past niet bij dit hotel. Het pand is verouderd, de lift schokt, via de chat is personeel niet bereikbaar, zwembad niet verwarmd, prijs is zéér hoog.

Cons The rooms were ok but very basic cupboard space, open selves & one drawer only ! Hotel of this rating should also have a night light to go to the bathroom at night.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, can't fault it. The rooftop pool is an absolute treat especially in the sunshine and the bar up there is THE place to be in the evening. Location is second to none, 10 minutes to walk to the seafront, hundreds of gorgeous small shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We would absolutely return here.
Cons The two hour slots at the pool are a bit restrictive, although I do understand the reasoning behind it. The gym area is a bit restricted and it would be good to have some advice on how to use the resistance training equipment - it looks great but would take a bit of getting used to I think.
