Upgraded to deluxe room, a pleasant surprise indeed for me to enjoy the Ambang Merdeka night from my room. I stayed in Traders Hotel last year for the same purpose, although KLCC view from Grand Hyatt is not the best, the fireworks view is better from here. But if you want the fireworks with KLCC view, you can't have that from these hotels. Unique design of having the skylobby (at the highest level) so everyone can enjoy the KL skyline view 360°. Rooms are all located below the sky lobby which lead to the instruction could be hardly interpreted - typical hotel rooms are located above, going up instead of going down to our room. The service was great. I am impressed by the thoughtful receptionist who offered the prayer garment and prayer mat sent to the room. The prayer garment and mat were made of good quality materials. I am always touched when at least 4 mineral/drinking water bottles provided in a room because for me, 2 bottles are not enough. Kudos for understanding that keeping hydrated is important. Only a few hotels done this.
Cons Parking still a bit conservative, need to validate our card before every exit. It can be done either at the sky lobby or ground floor lobby. Other place already adopt the car plate number recognition whereby it will automatically opened for guest going out - registered number upon check-in. This is no big deal, just my expectation is high.
Was a very happy Merdeka staycation wf my family🇲🇾❤️

Hotel pod każdym względem perfekcyjny! Pokoje duże, nowoczesne, z pięknym widokiem i z pełnym wyposażeniem. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna na każdym kroku. Hotel położony 5 minut spacerkiem od Petronas Towers, 20 minut od Jalan Alor. Blisko stacji metra. Śniadania na topowym poziomie - różnorodne, świeże i pyszne.
