I came in late (around 8pm) after driving all day. I was given a room that “they typically don’t use” (as stated by the front desk). Apparently they were at capacity despite having a reservation in place a week prior. There were no window coverings on the ground floor. After traveling all day long my daughter wanted to take a shower asap. Unbeknownst to me she was completely naked with people walking right past the window. Also, the sun was blaring in our faces as soon as the sun came up when I really needed sleep. They changed our room for second day and gave me a measly $150 inconvenience credit on my $900 bill for a two night stay. What a joke. The staff was super friendly and the place is clean. The pool areas with hammocks were quaint, but that doesn’t negate the huge inconvenience (not to mention the embarrassment my daughter endured with grown men seeing her nude. I will think twice before ever staying at a Hyatt properly again.

The stay was good. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms are not quite what I expected them to be. But the brightest spot in the entire hotel is the always smiling and pleasant bartender Sasha, for whom I give everything positive and he is the star in the hotel that made the whole impression great, and thank him.
