Prices gouged for local event which staff were not prepared for.

Cons The price coupled with availability. The prices were gouged 120% due to a concert. This I can understand but the staff were not prepared to deal with a full hotel. The lobby was packed with guests waiting for rooms that were not ready for 2 hours after normal check in time and parking was full (with no communication). Although the front desk did the best they could, they were clearly fluster under the pressure. If prices are to be gouged to the level they were management must ensure the hotel is prepared and adequately staff to deal with a full house. The concert was known for over a year. Otherwise keep prices standard so the underwhelming service is justified.
