Kevin gave us great customer service! The food and drinks was amazing... overall experience was absolutely amazing
Cons The pillows was too small and it wasn't enough on the bed for a King suite
Great spot in the city with excellent gym and free breakfast.
The service was great, when it was time to check-in the manager was busy on a complex customer call. Another member of the staff whom already finished her day stayed behind to help me. Highly appreciated!! Room - very spacious and clean. Gym - awesome gym thaf I didn’t expect. Amazing breakfast especially for omelette lovers such as myself and my vegan brother. We surprisingly had many options for us both! Very attentive staff ensuring everything was fully stocked. Amazing location where 11th avenue and the surrounding park connects to a long walking path. Close enough to walk to downtown.
Cons It would be better to know what was being served each day for breakfast. It’s similar but changed slightly. As I do intermittent fasting I’d appreciate easily knowing what foods are offered. Ie smoked sausage vs breakfast sausage and cheese omelet vs frittata style. Breakfast was still great. The pool and rooftop bar is popular amongst the younger generations.
Worth it for the price
It is nice, new and very clean
Cons The pool is really small for all the hotel
Great location Great for pets Comfortable
Cons Breakfast was bad
Good Stay! Metropolis Parking info
Overall this is a pretty great hotel: the location is "on point" (lots of restaurants, Publix & Starbucks are within walking distance; close enough to Broadway to enjoy those things but removed to also enjoy the peace & quiet too); the hotel overall is pretty quiet, well maintained & clean; the staff is super friendly and helpful; and the breakfast buffet offers a lot of variation day to day-- there should be something for everyone. My only feedback has to do with the beds/pillows (mattress was extremely hard; pillows could use 'restuffing'); the room HVAC (no way to cool it down despite trying over several days and did note that heat was coming from the fan at some point around midnight one night for a short time). This was not isolated to just me but everyone in our party had the same issue with the beds and in room climate control. Parking: I realize this is outside of the control of the hotel but sharing in case it helps others. The signs located in the parking garage itself prompt you to use Metropolis and runs about $50/day. A couple of things to know: (1): it may be difficult to get a receipt to print out for reimbursement using this app as it's sent via text. (2): if you log on to the Metropolis app, the payment will be $0 yet your 'receipt' (provided via text message) will show what you actually paid-- it can be confusing to know definitively if you've been charged or not. The receipt that was sent via text is what you will be charged. Be sure to share when checking in IF you've already paid for parking using Metropolis or not-- otherwise you may run the risk of being double-charged (by Metropolis and the hotel). I can't see where the hotel would charge more or less than Metropolis but I can see where it would be much easier if all charges were on the hotel receipt (especially for reimbursement).
