We liked the convenience of this property and we were mostly very comfortable. Might stay again

Room was well appointed and the location of property was excellent. Walkable to many things. Staff was accommodating and pleasant. Rooftop lounge was very nice.

Cons Elevator security was not good. Only one elevator needed a room key to get to room. Pool was disappointing....noisy and not inviting for adults...great for kids. It was nice to have breakfast included but not very healthy choices...every dry cereal was sugar laden. Potatoes were soggy. We ended up buying our own food and only using hot water and coffee. Maid service was a problem. Every other day and on our day, the maid knocked on door early and when we asked if she could come back in an hour since we were still getting ready to leave, she said no. The front desk did make this up to us by scheduling our next cleaning for a time we said we'd be gone. Our bill upon check out was more than the guaranteed quote from Booking.com. Luckily I noticed before leaving and they said it was an increase in room price, but they did correct it. Bed uncomfortable, and room could have used at least one table.

Great stay. The room and facilities had everything we needed. Every employee from check in to our departure was kind and helpful.

Cons The valet parking drop off was very busy during our stay and most times we needed to circle the block several times before being able to drop off our car.

Highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in this interesting city.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during a 3-week road trip around the Pacific Northwest. On the ground floor, the foyer is comfortable and spacious with lots of seating and tables and an endless supply of free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There's also a small paid snack selection, a Japanese restaurant, a pool and a gym. They provide an excellent breakfast selection (including really good frittatas and waffles) and the staff are very friendly. Good valet parking too. The rooms are generously sized, the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is nice and big too. There's a fridge, microwave and a wide desk. There are good laundry facilities (you'll need plenty of quarters). We were just a five-minute walk from Powell's bookstore and other great shops, only 12 minutes from the Midtown Beer Garden, one of Portland's many food pods and a 10-minute walk to Cycle Portland. A great hotel inside and out.

Cons Got nothing negative to say about this place.

Overall, a good place to stay for families in Portland.

Great location. Very clean. Pool was great for kids. Laundry facilities were a bonus.

Cons It was a bit pricey for what we received. Breakfast and coffee leave something to be desired.
