Excellent girls weekend trip

We stated in Building A facing Cabrillo St on the 3rd floor. Excellent view from our balcony. The room was large and spacious with a lovely large soaking tub separate from the shower. Location was excellent right off State St and with Sterns wharf write across the street. We walked to all dining and the Lobero Theater was a short, affordable, Uber ride. We loved that check out was at noon and staff were able to accommodate a complimentary late check out to 1pm. Staff were very prompt to provide extra towels, service at the poolside cantina was very friendly. Cabrillo street can be loud but the windows blocked all noise when closed.

Cons Parking is a bit tight with a full-sized truck but otherwise it was safe and clean. Since the bathroom was so large, a second bath rug would have been nice.

Location fell way short of reasonable expectations from website.

The pool and fitness center were nice amenities.

Cons I had several options of hotels that were beachfront, and I chose the Harbor View Inn because of his proximity to the beach. However, when we checked in, we were sent to the offsite building which was about two blocks away from the beachfront making use of the pool, fitness center and Beach less than desirable. For $500-$600/night we expected more than a view of the Rusty’s Pizza parking lot with the loud music from cars parked in the lot. Property and staff were amazing but this offsite location should be marketed as a separate location. Very misleading.

The hotel is easily one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. Waking up to a sea view in a room that has an interior like the Yellowstone ranch. It was absolutely perfect. There’s a towel service for the pool and the pool was heated. Staff were lovely and we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick start our honeymoon. It was SO hard to leave

Cons There was construction outside the property which didn’t disturb us too much. However it must have disturbed something as our bathroom was covered in ants upon our arrival. I left a note for housekeeping however and they sorted it I never saw another.

Amazing place to stay

The views from the room and the pool area were amazing. The 21 and up spa area was very relaxing. Room service was very fast as well.
