Best hotel pick if you are planning to visit the Mission Hills area and the Karoo Ice World. The mall is also just opposite for all your shopping and dining needs. Hotel decoration and vibes are chic rock trendy style. First, you will be greeted by the friendly and helpful staff at the check-in counter, particularly Diana. There is also a popcorn and cotton candy station to welcome the kids. The kids playroom also offer activities for the kids like cookie baking. Then, the room is big and spacious with all amenities provided. Bed is big and comfortable, giving us a good night's sleep every night. Hotel breakfast spread is big and tasty, and the dinner buffet is also highly recommended after a long day of play with your kids. Pool is relatively small and might get crowded. Overall, this hotel is great pick if you are visiting this area.

Nice experience

The overall look and decoration of the hotel is great. It is clean and the bluetooth sound system in the spacious room is nice. The breakfast was divers and nice with a great decor in the restaurant. The bed was quite comfy,

Cons The airco unit was a jet engine and far too loud to have running at night for me. Therefore it had to be turned off by which it got quite hot in the room eventually with sweaty wake ups. And well you are in China, so not everything works as great as it looks like. e.g. the shower door did not close properly so the bathroom floor floods will showering. The drain of the bath did not open after having taken a bath so you had to pry it open with a coin. A fridge in the room that did not get very cold. Such things takes away the 5 star feeling. It would have been nice for the desk to be positioned to face the room rather than a wall. Pool closing at 19:00 is early

Such a great place!

I stayed in an excellent room for an incredible price, the check-in, check-out (especially Cherie), concierge, Rock Royalty Lounge, Hard Rock Cafe, room service, and housekeeping staffs were just so attentive, warm, welcoming, and lovely to interact with. I truly miss this level of hospitality now that I'm in Malaysia, where the exact opposite it true. I hope to stay at the other Hard Rock properties in China as soon as I have the chance! Thank you Hard Rock Hotel Shenzhen! Also, this hotel's Hard Rock Café will always be special to me because of the tireless work ethic and kindness of its main worker, who I sadly never caught the name of, and she was the reason why we decided to dine two nights in a row here. She was so attentive, and the service was so fast. To see her managing the dining area, bar, and Rock Shop so effortlessly and always with a smile was so inspiring and heartwarming. She also was incredibly polite with my large order at the Rock Shop so late at night, and her English language skills were the best I witnessed not only throughout the entire hotel, but throughout Shenzhen!
