Great location
Cons Breakfast not included
This place sums up the phrase “lipstick on a pig”.
I didn’t try the breakfast because it was $15 per person for the same type of breakfast the Holiday Inn next door was serving for free. They did have free coffee but they were out of tea.
Cons The property is under construction and the closed off areas look terrible. There is a curtain that “closes off” one hallway but it’s hang down and you can see the giant mess behind it. There is a gated area that looks like where a pool used to be and the area connecting it to the hotel is a bit of a disaster. We also had to kick our door in because it got stuck every time.

Reservations cancelled by property
We booked this hotel in November to attend a concert at Bank of America stadium. On Sunday we got an email welcoming us then Thursday we had an email saying our reservation was canceled and rebooked in South Charlotte. That is 20 mins on a good day, after a concert more like an hour. We elected to stay downtown so we could walk to the venue because we know how hard transportation is after a show. Hotel offered no sympathy or concern, making it worse we are Hilton Grand vacation members. Really makes you feel unvalued. We had additional reservations at the property, cancelled all of them and will never patronize this hotel again.
