Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Downtown

The staff were some of the nicest and most helpful I've encountered in my traveling experience.

I am always skeptical of hotel cleanliness because of some past experiences, but this hotel was very clean (I checked :)) the bed was really comfortable. I loved the location of the hotel, downtown and where good food and entertainment was. Devin, the parking attendant was helpful from the first moment I pulled up to the hotel, and the day shift concierges (sorry I didn't get their names, were especially helpful and nice. 10 out of 10!!!

Cons I have no complaints. Just a suggestion to get new pillows.

Close to the venue, Louisville palace. Easy to get to off the interstate.

Cons Was disappointed w/ the restaurant for our evening meal but had a great breakfast.

Friendly staff, clean room. Nice facilities, including nice rooftop restaurant/ bar.

Cons Service in the rooftop restaurant/bar was abominable. First night we went out there, sat 2 hours without anyone asking if we wanted another drink. Second night only slightly better, and had to go inside to the bar to finally get our check after asking several times for the check. Its a shame, because the venue should be a goldmine for them. Just need a better menu and better management of the restaurant.

Very nice hotel dumb parking garage

It was a very nice room. It had a pull out couch, microwave, refrigerator, a nice tv. I was only there over night so I didn't experience much.. I would stay there again.

Cons Something was super loud, I thought it was the A/C so I turned it off but i still heard the noise. It just filled the room. This has nothing to do with the hotel. I parked in the garage they suggested I use. The next day when I tried to leave, the machine used to pay would not take my card. It said it was invalid. So I repark and took a lyft to my meeting . I called my bank to see if there was a security hold. After my meeting , in a lyft I stop by an atm to get cash. I go back to try to get out of the garage. I tried my card again, same thing. So I put in the cash, it spat it back out. I was literally being held hostage. I pushed the button for assistance, explained I was in an open air prison and she asked if I had another card! Really, if I did would it not have dawned on me to USE IT! long story longer, she was able to process the payment manually using the SAME CARD and lift the gate.

Walking distance to concert at The Palace

I stayed at the hotel on my birthday, and it would have been a lovely touch if the hotel had offered

The bed was comfortable, and the location was great for getting to my destination.

Cons There was some noise outside the hotel late at night.
