OUTSTANDING SERVICE, FOOD & LOCATION
My daughter and her husband were the travelers, but I am writing this review based on my remote interaction with hotel staff and my daughter's evaluation of her actual 3-day stay. It was my daughter's 40th birthday and I emailed the hotel prior to her travel to Peru to inquire about how and what the hotel staff could do to make her birthday surprise extra-special. I got several immediate responses--all great ideas--but I then chose to wait until my daughter's actual arrival. While there, she Facetimed me to tell me about the fabulous bath products in the guest rooms. I emailed the Concierge, Jorge Loayza (who, by the way is an esteemed member of Les Clefs d'Or) to purchase the lotion for her. It was a painless, immediate transaction and within an hour or two, the lotion was delivered to my daughter's guest room--of course, gift-wrapped--at a very fair price. That level of service is rare to find these days. In addition, upon my daughter's and her husband's arrival, the staff had laid out in small colorful rocks on the bed "Happy Birthday + name" IN CURSIVE IN SPANISH accompanied by a delicious-looking piece of cake. I would also like to give a shout-out to Gabriela Tejada with Guest Services who assisted with the birthday caper. My daughter received an upgraded room and commented that the Executive Club was the best and the location of the hotel was perfect! They cannot wait to return. We cannot wait to visit for the first time.
