Well first they gave her room away when we got there we had contacted them five times on our way up there telling him we wouldn't be there till 12:00 or 1:00 in the morning which the room is already paid for. And they gave a room away gave us another room that night and then the next day found us another room to overlook where the fireworks were going to be and in the end we should just stay in the first room they gave us. And staff was great they were willing to work with us and they apologize because there was no notes yet there were notes but no one looked into it and they gave our room away. Other than that love the place love the breakfast on the weekends the breakfast is different during the middle of the week and it is on the weekends from Thursday to Sunday full breakfast buffet from Monday through Wednesday just the menu. Will stay here again and stay at all the Hiltons we prefer them. And since this was for part one of our honeymoon we will probably stay here again in a couple years as part of our anniversary we were married on June 6th and had to do a rush wedding in Padre Island and so our honeymoon was split up between July and the end of August.

Cons The fact I gave her room away when we had contacted them on our way up there five different times saying we were running behind because of traffic. Had contacted them 2 weeks before to make sure we had a certain room it was for a honeymoon they had champagne and everything set up for us in her room. But they gave it away so that's the only thing I didn't like but they made up for it the best they could

Convenient and luxurious

Great view from balcony, perfect location, exit hotel right onto River Walk, friendly staff.

Cons The shower could strip the bark from a tree. A barrage of high pressure jets that actually hurt if you took a direct hit in certain places haha. Enter carefully.
