Disappointed

Friendly staff at reception. Free cake in our room for my husband birthday. Very nice room. Breakfast was okay.

Cons Probably a combination of circonstances but we were not able to have a drink outside as ALL outdoor areas were closed (roof top terrace and lobby terrace). Evening buffet closed (the opening days were not mentioned on booking) so only 1 choice to have dinner in our building and we did not like the menu (only Chinese food). We ended having dinner outside. Lobby bar closed at 8pm. Room was smelly and even we paid for an upgrade for a sea view, the view is obstructed by a big building. Except the reception all other staff don’t speak English and use their phone to translate, this is not a real international hotel.

Dissapointed

Most of the staff were really helpful. The location or area is superb. The rooms are nice and the room facilities really easy to use: TV, nice shower, great bathroom, plenty of space. Extremely comfortable bed and in general the room and hotel was very clean.

Cons I thought the food was passable but the evening buffet was very limited. Overcooked beef, limited wine selection (a bit embarrassed by being told if I wanted sauvignon blanc I would have to order it. I'm not a cheapskate and would have been happy to pay for it - had I been able to order) The buffet lacked quality in many areas and seemed to cater for the crowd. The breakfast was okay. My biggest issue was the inconvenience of the building where we were housed. The building site on arrival wasn't pleasant but unavoidable. The pool area was untidy, fenced off and lacked anywhere to sit. Far too busy for me. We felt, yet again, dissapointed by Hilton in these key areas. Perhaps I just complain too much but as a paying customer there are far better choices in my opinion where you will feel that you are valued more.

Top hotel, niet te missen bij een bezoek aan Shenzhen!

Het ganse geheel klopt als een bus. Het personeel is super vriendelijk, de hulpvaardigheid van alle personeelsleden is ongezien! Ik heb helaas maar voor 1 nacht geboekt, maar ga nog voor het einde van deze maand terug naar dit Hotel. Het heeft alles wat men mag verwachten van een Hilton. Ondanks dat er een gigantisch groot trouwfeest was was er van drukte niets te merken.
