Great hotel for last night of vacation before flying next day

By and large the stay was as per our expectations

The location was ideal

Cons I got the hotel booked through booking.com. My stay was split in two bookings. First booking was from 13 Aug to 22 Aug and the second booking was from 23 Aug to 29 Aug. Each time I was charged $150 as incidental charges. I was told that the incidental charges would be reimbursed to my credit card after 4 to 5 days after deducting the purchases I got from their in-house market. Until now I didn’t receive the balance of $260

Good location, very quiet. Easy walk to many venues.

Cons Could be cleaner. Bathroom showed wear and tear, probably makes cleaning harder.

We would not stay at that location again.

Cons Breakfast was way below expectations. Eggs should just contain eggs, bagels seemed a bit stale, coffee weak. We ate else where when we left.

Brutal

The cleaning lady was nice and the water at breakfast was Cold. Free parking.

Cons This hotel is awful. I'm an IHG member and have stayed at many Holidays Inns and this the most negative experience. Here is my recap: 1. By far the worst shuttle service. It took over one hour for the driver to pick me up. He said “you've been waiting for a long time, huh?” Did he apologise? No. 2. The iron was broken. Luckily the cleaner got me a new one. 3. I arrived at the hotel early and asked for an early check-in. The woman at front desk promised me she would call me if a room became available. She didn't. However I returned 1 hour before check-in and my room was ready. Keep in mind I am here for work. 4. One the keys didn't work. I guess that is standard so no big deal. 5. The coffee is weak. I was still tired after drinking it. 6. The bathroom next to the gym was hideous. I will not going into details. 7. The Dove soap in the shower gave me a temporary skin rash. 8. I got one of those generic text messages asking how my stay was going and I voiced my complaints. Got the typical “sorry we didn't live up to your expectations” reply with no action taken. 9. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. You need a car if you stay here.
