Unfortunately, our experience with Holiday Inn Rosebank was extremely poor, as we did not actually get to stay at the hotel. We booked our accommodation approximately nine months in advance and had a confirmed reservation for our stay. Despite this, Holiday Inn cancelled our reservation in error shortly before our arrival. Although we were advised that alternative accommodation would be arranged, we struggled to obtain any confirmation despite numerous follow-ups, leaving us extremely concerned the day before we were due to fly to Johannesburg. Thankfully, Booking.com ultimately stepped in and resolved the situation for us, arranging alternative accommodation at the Royal Majestic Hotel Rosebank. The Royal Majestic was excellent in all aspects, and we were extremely happy with our stay there. We are very grateful to Booking.com for ensuring that what could have been a very stressful start to our trip was ultimately resolved. Unfortunately, however, our experience with Holiday Inn Rosebank itself was very disappointing, particularly considering how far in advance we had booked and that the cancellation resulted from an error on the hotel's side
