Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown - Lake Union by IHG

Perfect area for us.

Breakfast was provided. The hotel was walking distance to many sights to visit.

Cons The breakfast area was packed and not enough seating or food for everyone. Maybe needed more staff to keep up with putting food out.

Good value for money in a great location for some major tourist attractions.

Great location to walk to the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, not to mention several restaurants and a Walgreens. Short walk to catch the bus downtown too. Really comfy room, basic decor and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast, especially appreciated having different options each day. Get down earlyish so you don't miss out on their cinnamon buns. Really helpful staff and pleasant foyer.

Cons The car park was a little tight for space and the street location isn't very attractive but the interior and location more than made up for these minor observations.

I will not be back.

Room was not cleaned while we were there until we finally complained that ee needed it cleaned and fresh towels and coffee, etc. That service only replaced towels nothing else. We ran out od toilet tissie. Breakfast was ok, but did not seem cooked enough. I have NEVER had to pay parking at a hotel I stayed at . This was a shock to have to do that here. They also would not give me q senior discount. I am75 years old. I will not be staying there again.

Cons I did notl ike having to pay for my parking at your hotel. I didn't like that my room was not cleaned. I stayed 4 nights and spent most days at the hospital. When I came back to the room the room was not cleaned so I had to do that myself. For the price , I would think I was paying for that service

Breakfast was amazing lots of choices and had really good coffee.

Cons The bed was like sleeping on a Board. It was extremely hard.

Friendly staff.

Cons Coffee machine needed servicing but we figured it out ourselves.
