Very nice stay, spacious and well appointed.
Breakfast area better than most hotels. Real plates and utensils, fairly nice selection of meat and eggs and pastry or rolls or biscuits, plus cereal and toastable items. And of course, no other hotel I've seen has waffles in the shape of Texas. Fruits were good. Coffee and hot water are always available although by night sometimes they were not steaming hot. Dining area was spacious -- tables, booths and island with stools. All a cut above, although not super fancy. Rooms were very spacious and well equipped for staying in if needed (dishes, utensils, knives, etc.) Large frig. Dishwasher if needed (we washed in the sink). Couch w/ ottoman and a curtain to draw between the bed and living area. Long desk area and closet had a luggage rack, which some places don't provide any more. Nightstands had actual functioning outlets. One big plus for us was a fan in the bathroom that vented the moisture quite effectively.
Cons Minor things. Could have used some directions for the thermostat, which I'm not sure we figured out properly. we dinked around with it a lot and maybe that wasn't such a good idea. A bit of pen and paper somewhere to write notes on would have been nice (we don't write everything on our phones). I got logged in to WiFi on some of our devices but couldn't figure out how on others -- probably not the hotel's problem. I should have asked at the desk.
