Lovely Boutique Hotel
The hotel is lovely, the staff very helpful. The air conditioning during this very hot week in Paris was excellent. Location very convenient for access to many tourist attractions, including Notre Dame. As part of the Reunion choral group this past July, there was adequate room for us to sit and talk in the lobby, although a bit more "cooling" would have been appreciated in the lobby.

Such a treat to stay in this historic building. Service was exceptional, comfortable rooms, in a wonderful street of great restaurants and activities. Highly recommend.
Wonderful Stay in a Unique Property
I took a stroll through the lobby of this hotel some twenty-five years ago. I had considered it before, but thought it was out of my price range. But we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and decided that the time had come to book it. Besides, the 3-star hotels had increased their rates so much, that the prices were comparable at this 4-star property. The building is the only Palm Tennis court left standing in Paris, and it is spectacular. Those soaring beamed ceilings and thick stone walls make it a one-of-a-kind property. The staff here is wonderful, and the welcome is warm. The rooms are modern, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast is lovely, and it is served in the atrium with those soaring ceilings. There are many comfortable public spaces where you can relax. The hotel bar was a great place for a glass of champagne before our special dinner. It was quite warm when we were there, although it would get ever hotter a few weeks later. The air conditioning is robust, and our rooms were delightfully cool. You should be aware that the public areas are cooled only with fans. It's more of a problem for the staff than the guests, since the guests can always retreat to their rooms. Thanks to everyone at the Jeu de Paume for making our anniversary so memorable! It really is a very special place.
Wonderful hotel and staff
We just returned from 6 nights at the wonderful Hotel du Jeu de Paume. Once we discovered it, maybe 8 or 9 years ago, we’ve only stayed here. The location is perfect for getting all over the city, either by foot, Metro or taxi. I can’t say enough about how wonderful, kind and helpful the staff is. Elena and David at reception were especially helpful with anything at all we needed. The hotel is charming. We stay in a Superior Double and have plenty of room to sit and chat or watch tv while having a snack from the fromagerie across the street. There’s ample storage. I have no complaints with the bathroom either. Breakfast is plentiful although I missed yogurt with fruit this trip. All in all, we love the Hotel du Jeu de Paume and can’t wait to return!

This is a block from Notre Dame so lots of Paris to experience right outside your door! Staff were so lovely! Enjoyed Champagne on the patio listening to birds sing.
Great location, great hotel
We are so glad we stayed here! The front desk staff were all exceptionally friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect. I'm picky about hotels, and I will definitely stay here again if my travels take me back to Paris.
