Hotel Stary

Would recommend the hotel. Overall had a great experience.

A perfect location within the old town of Krakow. Hotel has been designed and decorated to within keeping of the age., but also up keeping with modern day life. We had an interior room which was very spacious and the bathroom facilities were great. Staff are very attentive and friendly. The breakfast covered for all with a good buffet and a cooked menu to choose from.

Cons This is only constructive criticism- The lighting in the room. Whilst lovely for an overall ambience. There needs to be extra lighting by the dressing table/bureau. Also the top floor bar and terrace should have a basket of blankets and heaters to switch on when guests come up to that area. There is bar staff there, but it’s so cold outside without the aforementioned facilities. Think the hotel is missing the trick there.

Het hotel ligt ideaal voor een bezoek aan het oude centrum maar de gezelligheid moet je elders zoeken

Het hotel ligt werkelijk schitterend en is comfortabel en mooi gerestaureerd. Goede bedden en badkamer. En vooral ook niet zo’n massaal hotel maar kleinschalig

Cons De stugheid van het personeel viel op ten opzichte van alle andere Polen die wij tegen zijn gekomen die verder vriendelijk, behulpzaam en goedlachs zijn, maar op die eigenschappen werd het personeel van het hotel duidelijk niet geselecteerd; eerder afstandelijk efficiënt. Mede daarom buiten het hotel gaan dineren en ontbijten
