Great time in Austin!
The hotel and property were fantastic! The staff was helpful, informative, and available. They helped us with recommendations for dining in Austin. The location was perfect for our trip. The pool was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the music and bar on a hot August afternoon. Highly recommend Hotel Van Zandt!!

I sprained my ankle the first day I was in Austin and the Valet's were life savers! I was traveling for work, so I was in and out of ALOT of Ubers and they were there each time to help and assist me!! Huge thank you to them for getting me through he trip!!

It was an awesome experience. Loved Van Zandt for its cleanliness, service, amenities, and comfort. A unique hotel yet casual for all guests especially music lovers.
HVZ is a vibe!!
In a perfect location being within walking distance of Rainey street. But the hotel itself is a vibe! Geraldine’s is great with live music and a vibe also. We had a King Spa Suite that had a great setup and the view was awesome! Only thing is they don’t have free parking and valet parking is $65 a day which is ridiculous but for the ease of mind and not having to find parking somewhere else, just do it. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend. Shout out to A.T. at the front desk for putting a little extra on our stay for my wife’s birthday and overall hospitality! Oh but don’t let anyone talk you into going to Terry Black’s over Franklin’s if you want BBQ!

We’ve stayed at the Van Zandt more times than I can count over the last 10 years. It’s simply gets better every time. The ambiance, the location (Austin maturing and growing up around it), the food, the rooms, the live entertainment. BUT MOST IMPORTANT. THE STAFF. This time I cant thank Jordyne enough. As the manager on duty she handled a situation (caused by another guest, not Van Zandt) in the most professional manner. She and her team went above and beyond. We travel a great deal, and to find this level of attention in the hospitality industry is rare and should be the level all strive to achieve. From the moment we were met by Aaron at valet through our entire visit. It was 5 stars.
