A good time at the bar.

Yak and Yeti is very close by to Thamel making it good for shopping. I especially enjoyed the stay the food was nice at the bar. I enjoyed that the place is very clean and has a cozy environment. The servers at the bar were very nice and were able to cater to our requests. Their names are Abiral, Dilip, Sanjeev. They were also very friendly which made the time at the bar nice. The rooms were nice very very modern.

Lounge 77 is a Must!!!

The experience we had Lounge 77 was amazing!! The food is sensational, Rakshya is the BEST server, and we came back for drinks every evening.

Lovely and unforgettable Experience

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu. We stayed in the Club Shangri-La King room for 9 days and each day was amazing. The Hotel is centrally located and most places are easily accessible. We would especially like to mention the team at The Club Shangri-La lounge. Amar, Suman, Ayushma and Shradha took exceptional care and made sure that everything was perfect. Their warm smiles and genuine commitment to make our stay memorable, was commendable. The lounge served very tasty and freshly prepared items daily from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Fresh juices, tea, coffee, healthy snacks and mouthwatering side dishes. They ensured that our son’s birthday celebration was memorable and something to cherish. A special thanks to Aayushma for keeping our son engaged with interesting facts about the hotel and patiently listening to his stories. The buffet breakfast served in The Spice Room also deserves a special mention as everything was tasty and they went the extra mile to ensure that the tea was to our liking and the dosas were always crispy. Our son loved the pancakes made on special request. Jhapad, Anisha and John knew what we wanted and everything was ordered even without reminding them once. Other things including the room, swimming pool and the garden were all well maintained and up to the standards of a five star property but it was their hospitality (from the guard all the way to the management staffs) that made it exceptional. We would recommend the hotel and would definitely come back to enjoy the warm hospitality.

Great hotel option in Kathmandu.

A wonderful hotel set in beautiful gardens. Rooms were great and staff very professional. The hotel is peaceful and calm. Location was excellent and easy to get to and from.

Best hotel in Kathmandu and very friendly staff

Three of us stayed at Yak & Yeti before and after our Kailash Parikrama, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and very welcoming. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional staff. Everyone we interacted with was professional, warm, and genuinely helpful. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all excellent, and we’ll definitely miss both the delicious food and the wonderful hospitality. My apologies if I’ve missed a few names, but a special thank you to Jhapad, John, Anisha, Manisha, and Raj for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. ❤️
