Good location and good service

Very well located hotel, check in was smooth and attention at all times was very good. Room service was better than many restaurants nearby

Great location

Great location but the bathrooms need updating as they are worn and outdated. Service & security was great. Not a fan of the prepaid breakfast and the bar was twice as expensive than in town.

The place to stay in Boston.

One of the best hotel experiences of our lives. The hotel stays very busy, but the staff treats you like you are their only customer.

Great Hotel Experience

I was a guest for a 70th birthday pleasure trip from August 13 through the 20th and I was very pleased with my accomodations. Check-in was smooth and the staff was able to provide me an early check-in. Throughout the week, I enjoyed the Avenue One restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The food was first rate, particularly the Fish and chips and the excellent breakfast buffet. Over the course of my stay I became good friends with two great bartenders, Bill and Phil. They, in turn, introduced me to some of their regular customers, which was a very educational and enjoyable experience for me. These local folks gave me so many great ideas for things to do and ways to get there! That is one of my favorite things about traveling, meeting friendly people! I also had the pleasure of interacting with Anthony, the concierge on the street level desk. He always greeted me with a smile and very pleasant conversation. I also want to thank the person who corrected a billing error on one of my restaurant visits (I was double charged for a breakfast buffet) and refunded my card promptly.
