It was alright

The view was nice and close to a lot of things in the area.

Cons Not all of the valet staff were friendly. Felt rushed and uncomfortable a lot of the times.

Hotel is nowhere near worth the money, staff is nice enough, room is not.

The location was good, and the outside view of the hotel was nice. The view of the lobby from the elevator was pretty. And the view outside was nice because we were high up

Cons The room didn’t have many amenities, no chair, no couch. The shower head was old and lacked pressure. The bathtub fixtures were loosely attached and moved when turning the shower on. The a/c was not fully operable. It was cooler than outside, but not cold. I had not noticed because when I checked in, I left immediately after for a concert. And when coming back to the room, it was late so I made do. By the A/c vent there was water all over the floor that spread throughout the night. The breakfast was mediocre, and for such an egregious charge for breakfast I can’t say that I’m happy about it. Would say it was comparable to a large La Quinta.

Bedding and mattress comfortable. Quiet.

Cons No drinking cups in bathroom.

Location Room was clean

Cons Awful sewer smell in lobby. Told front desk because it was putrid and she said she can’t smell it. She likely couldn’t smell it because she was there in the lobby . I had come into the hotel and the odor was awful. Coincidentally- carpet was being pulled up in lobby - that may have had something to do with the smell. The part that upset me was she made it seem like I was wrong or lying. Terrible customer service. Also - at store in lobby/ 2 bugs in my coffee - likely from the creamer. I told employee and she said yes it’s probably from the creamer. Like she knew that is a problem. She asked if I had my cup as if she was going to reuse it! I absolutely did not have my cup with the bugs in it. Ridiculous. Should have given me a coffee on the house. I asked her to use the creamer directly from the fridge.

Cons It was our 45th wedding anniversary. We had stayed there on our wedding night 45 years earlier. And even though I had told the hotel that in advance, there was nothing done by the staff to make it special for us.

Overall a great stay, our room had an excellent view

Cons The pool didn’t seem to be what I was expecting
