Good for a short stay in Gdansk

Very convenient location within walking distance to the old city, friendly staff, spatious clean room with a nice view, air conditioning, buffet breakfast with lots of choices.

Cons Beds could have been more comfortable, would have appreciated a kettle in the room, a little expensive for the value.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable – honestly one of the best hotel beds we've slept in. We slept extremely well. The location was also very convenient for exploring Gdańsk on foot.

Cons At check-in, there was a rather concerning mix-up. I had booked and fully prepaid a two-night stay through Booking.com. The receptionist initially tried to check us in for four nights. I pointed out that our reservation was only for two nights, which she acknowledged. She then asked whether I wanted to pay by cash or card. I showed her that the accommodation had already been paid in full online. After checking the reservation again, she confirmed that no payment was due. I don't want to speculate about the reason for these mistakes, but had I not been paying close attention, I could potentially have paid again for a stay that was already fully prepaid, and apparently for four nights instead of two. This is something the hotel should address in its check-in procedure.
