Nice affordable Ibis hotel near lake

Breakfast is included in the price , although it is just so-so regular breakfast items , it’s a plus for choosing this hotel . Hotel also offers free coffee during the day and you can enjoy the drinks in the outdoor sitting area We happen to stay Thursday and the town has street food stalls Thursday nights just 5 mins from hotel , so it is very convenient . The “Eat Streat” which offers a variety of international cuisine restaurants is also 2 streets away . Lake walkway is enjoyable and has a mini fairground with Ferris wheels and other rides every night till like after 9pm

Cons Installation of grab bars in shower area would be good for baby boomers now in their twilight years who can’t afford to slip and fall Insufficient parking space onsite ( too many labelled NP for no parking (?)) and hv to park in street , which is inconvenient if one wants to sleep in late , as city starts charging from 0900 .

Nice room central location and affordable

The room was actually really spacious for an ibis hotel. Staff were super friendly, and it was a really good rate. I would say again.

Cons Nothing in particular, we are able to use the pool at the Novotel which we did but I don’t recommend it’s old and dated and kinda gross.

Comfy bed, great location and breakfast included.

Enjoyable weekend.

Key swipe to get to different floors, different entrances, comfy beds and decent shower. Being able to use the Novotel pool and spas next door, short walk and I have a walking disability. We took towels from our room but there were towels there we could have dried off and left there. My husband enjoyed the TV as it was in a good location. Small room but lots of luggage top space made up for it. Close to Eat Street, you could walk there by going out Basement and up ramp around the Novotel and crossing the road.

Cons Parking was difficult and no disabled parking. Made it hard after having gone and eaten to get back in. Assigned parking spaces under the building would help this. So it’s not always just for disabled with mobility pass but maybe elderly, with a baby or dignitary that needs undercover parking.
