Nice stay with a great view and easy access to a very pretty park

The location is near SKP and within walking distance to many great restaurants. The service of the staff made the stay a really pleasant one.

Cons Some parts of the bathroom countertop looks like it need to be wiped thoroughly again. The bedsheet has a smell and I felt itchy all over during the first night. Thank God for the staff prompt action to replace the bedsheet and pillow for me, all good after that! Thank you!

Excellent architecture and combination between new and old style

Good value for money and great breakfast.

Having stayed at the Intercontinental at the Global, we found the Century City Intercontinental wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. The only issue being the bed is quite hard. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in many of the hotels we have stayed in Chengdu. Lovely large lobby area. The hotel is between Century City and Jincheng Plaza, being about a 15 minute walk between the both.

The best hotel for a business trip

I stayed at InterContinental Century Chengdu for three nights while attending the “China Space Day” conference, which was held in the same hotel. It was incredibly convenient - I could easily get ready between sessions without worrying about transportation or logistics. The hotel itself is outstanding. It exceeded my expectations and is probably the best place I’ve stayed during business trips. Chengdu as a city also left a great impression, which made the overall experience even more positive. First and foremost, the service is excellent. Many thanks to the staff for allowing me an early check-in and a slightly later check-out. Daily service routines are handled at a very high level - everything feels well-organized, efficient, and thoughtfully managed. The front desk team was always helpful, polite, and professional, ready to answer any questions. All of this comes together in a beautifully designed environment where attention to detail is clearly visible. The hotel is stunning both inside and out. I especially loved the traditional Chinese-style reception house inside the main hall, as well as the green breakfast area filled with birdsong-it created a truly unique atmosphere. The bed was also a highlight: a wonderfully comfortable mattress, a pleasantly heavy blanket, and three different pillows to choose from- one of them surprisingly dense and heavy, which I personally really liked. I slept exceptionally well. Honestly, I enjoyed everything. I could go on, but to keep it simple - 10+ across the board! Best regards, Sergey
