Cons Этот было странное путешествие, я повелся на знаменитое здание + отель с именем, а по факту все очень старое и разбитое. - Ночью в ванной что-то хлюпало. - Вечером в мою дверь зачем-то навязчиво ломились и дали мне газету на китайском. - Номер хоть и большой, но весь разбит, как будто его ни разу не ремонтировали с 90х, раздолбано всё.
Outstanding Memorable Stay!!!
We just arrived yesterday at the Intercontinental Hangzhou and right after exiting the subway on line 4, my daughters and I were wowed by the futuristic globe design of this prestigious property (simply looks like something from 2050)!!! Our experiences so far have been nothing less than phenomenal, every staff member are so courteous and helpful in every way. The view from our room is spectacular and the beds are extremely comfortable. The surrounding area is excellent as well, giant malls and many food options around. One of my favorite things to do is the morning/evening stroll around the lake and just admire the views and breath in everything the area has to offer!!! We'd like to thank Ms. Robin Han, Tina Tu, and Annie Cao for the courteous pre arrival emails and the kind check-in staff (maybe Natasha, sorry can't remember the name) for the generous upgrade!!! Overall, we loved the experience, the staff, and I can't recommend the Intercontinental Hangzhou enough for the perfect base!!!

Overall a pleasant stay. Positives: 1. Interesting architecture, building is spherical and looks cool inside 2. Helpful friendly staff 3. Large and comfortable rooms 4. Good location with many shops and food options nearby 5. Metro station right outside 6. Hotel food is good Negatives: 1. Dated. Scratched up bathtub, bathroom tiles cracking, etc. 2. Terrible WiFi. Had better service using roaming 3. Expensive, perhaps better value elsewhere
