Amira made our stay We've stayed in a lot of hotels, from Australia to South Africa to South America, and Amira at the InterContinental Tashkent is one of the people we'll actually remember. She's the kind of attentive you usually only get at the very top end: she notices things before you ask, and she follows through. Best example: two hours after we'd checked out, my son realised he'd left his AirPods somewhere. We called, half expecting a "we'll let you know if anything turns up." Instead Amira went and looked for them herself, found them and sorted it out for us. She had no reason to go that far for guests who'd already left, but she did. The hotel itself is good too. Great location, rooms are lovely, service is solid across the board. But Amira is what we'll tell people about. The hotel is lucky to have her, and we'd come back.
