I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Jeddah Hilton . The view was beautiful and added greatly to the overall experience. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and maintained to a high standard. The service was excellent throughout my stay, and the team was exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and professional. Their warm hospitality made me feel valued and contributed significantly to a pleasant and memorable experience. That said, considering the hotel’s somewhat dated condition, I found the pricing to be a bit high in the current market. While the service and overall experience were very positive, the rates would feel more justified if the property and facilities were updated to better reflect the expectations associated with its price point.

Cons The spa facilities are located outside the main hotel building, although the location itself was not my primary concern. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the spa was disappointing. The facilities and equipment appeared noticeably outdated, and the steam room was barely producing steam and operating at a very low temperature, which significantly affected the experience. Another unexpected moment occurred when I was about to enter the swimming pool and a team member approached me and instructed me to wear a swimming cap. When I asked why, I was informed that guests’ hair could accumulate in the pool filter. This was the first time I had encountered such a requirement, and I found the way it was presented rather surprising. I fully understand the importance of maintaining pool hygiene and protecting the equipment. However, I believe management should address this through proper maintenance, regular pool cleaning, and scheduled technical inspections to ensure that the facilities remain clean and the filtration system functions effectively, rather than placing guests in an uncomfortable situation. Considering the spa appeared to have relatively low guest traffic, I would expect maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that all facilities are in proper working condition to be manageable priorities. Overall, the spa experience fell short of the standards I would expect from a luxury property such as Waldorf Astoria. I hope management will review the condition of the facilities, the maintenance procedures, and the approach to guest communication to ensure a more comfortable and seamless experience in the future.
